SUMMIT ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES TWILIGHT SEQUEL - NEW MOONLos Angeles, CA November 22, 2008 — Summit Entertainment announced today that the studio is officially moving forward with the production of NEW MOON, the second installment of its filmed franchise TWILIGHT, the action-packed, modern day vampire love story. The movie will be based on the second novel in author Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series titled, New Moon. The first movie in the TWILIGHT franchise, the self-titled TWILIGHT, arrived in theaters this weekend to sold-out showings.

Wahoo! I can't wait to go see this one! However, I think I'm going to take a day off of work around the opening, and go see the movie in the morning when all the screaming teenage brats are in school! They kind of ruined the whole Twilight the movie experience when they screamed everytime Edward, Jacob, Emmett, or Carlile came on screen, and everytime Bella and Edward got anywhere near close to kissing...

i'm so excited too! after watching the first one i felt like i could sit there another 6 hours and watch the rest of the series straight through! :)
